2.  FREE STORAGE - By selling your tracks at AudioSparx, you'll get free storage for all of your precious audio files.  As you may well know, master track .wav files can easily take up hundreds of megabytes or even gigabytes.  We store your files for free and perform rolling real-time off-site backups for maximum security of your files.

3.  YOU ARE IN CONTROL - You retain full ownership of your content.  You choose the price to sell at.  You configure your tracks with title, description, keywords, etc.  You can sell your tracks individually or in multi-track "soundpacks".  You can configure one or more artists under your account if you have content from multiple different sources.  We make it easy with batch upload and batch edit capabilities, a price administration wizard and other helpful tools to maximize your control and minimize the time it takes to configure your tracks just the way you like.  You can remove or replace any tracks at any time.

4.  REAL-TIME MONITORING - You can run reports at any time to see how many plays and sales you have.  We provide many different reports and helpful information to help maximize your sales.  We pay commissions on a quarterly basis religiously.  We strive to keep you happy so you bring more and more content to sell over time.

Basic Terms
Here's the basic terms of our licensing agreement:

1. AudioSparx will market your sound effects, loops, ringtones and/or music on our web site and in industry channels.  For licensing transactions that we complete for your content, we pay you 50% of gross sales.

2.  Our publishing is non-exclusive, which means you can also license your tracks to other publishers or licensing agents as desired.  If you ever need to take down any of your tracks because you wish to enter into an exclusive publishing agreement with another publisher for one or more of your tracks, that's fine, you can do so at any time.

3.  You retain all copyright ownership to all of your tracks, and you set the pricing for your tracks as you desire.

4.  Commissions are paid quarterly via PayPal or check.

How to Participate As a Content Provider

In order to participate as a content provider with AudioSparx, follow these simple steps:

1. Review our Content Provider Agreement online by clicking here (popup window).

2. Register online for free by clicking here (popup window).  Make sure and check the box to participate as a content provider.

3. After logging in, look at the content provider options at the bottom of the MyAudioSparx menu option.

4. Select the Artist Admin option, and add a new artist record for yourself, your band, or your company (any or all is fine).  You can add multiple artist records, each with their own picture or logo, if you have content from multiple different sources that you want to publish at AudioSparx.

5. Go back to the MyAudioSparx option (at top-right of main menu).  Select the "Upload New Tracks" option to upload each audio track files you intend to publish. After the upload is complete for each track, the Basic Properties page will appear.  You can also use the Batch Upload option to upload multiple tracks or soundpacks at one time, however we recommend that you first get familiar with uploading and editing one track at a time, to familiarize yourself with the various editing options.

6. On the Basic Properties page, make sure to price each track after you upload it. There's online instructions (by the question mark) that explains the various pricing options and how they should be set.

7. For music tracks, edit any of the advanced properties for each sound, as desired. All advanced properties are optional.  The more you fill in, in terms of track detail, the more likely your tracks are to be found when our clients perform specific searches.  Generally, for sound effects, loops and ringtones, you don't need to configure the advanced properties.  For music tracks, setting the applicable moods, styles, geography, lyrical subjects, instruments and so on will help your music tracks get found more easily when a client is searching for something specific.

8. Please note that all artist record additions or changes will be reviewed by our staff before they will appear as live on the web site.  The review will generally happen within a few hours of your upload or change.

9. On a quarterly basis, within 30 days after the end of each calendar quarter we will email you a report that details each sale of your content that has occurred, and will provide a dollar total of the commission payment we owe to you. Simply review the report and if you agree to it reply with "agree" in the subject line.  If we owe you $25.00 or more, then approximately 20 days later we'll send you a check for your commissions, or issue payment via PayPal if you prefer.  If the amount we owe you is less than $25.00 we will hold your commission payment until we owe you at least that much and then will send the full amount we owe you.
