I Came to Hear the Singin'

Verse 1: When I was just a kid, my folks sent me to Sunday School, I mem-o-rized some scriptures, I still know the Golden Rule. Didn’t pay to much attention. but I always loved the songs, So Jesus used my singin’ to bring me back where I belong.

Verse 2: When it comes to ta1king, I can ‘t hardly say a word. I was taught that children should be seen, but seldom heard. When somebody says, “Just speak right up”, then I can ‘t say a thing, But you can’t hardly stop me, when I start in to sing.
