The Swamp Doctors is a band out of Raleigh, NC and a musical vehicle for musician/ songwriter/producer Eric Manning-Taño. The core of the group centers around the writing and compositions of Eric Maning-Taño and Sam Stephens, and the slide guitar playing of Daniel Anderson. Combining blues with a bayou flavor, and funky bluesey/rock with some cajun seasoning, the three compose, record and produce all their own material. So get a cold beer, some steamin' hot crawfish and enjoy!
Some tracks are instrumental loops done by Eric Manning-Taño himself with the intent of being used in TV and movies, while other tracks feature the whole group and gave generated fome radio play on the air and on the internet. With "Reverend" Sam on lead vocals and guitar, Eric on guitar/bass, and Daniel on the ol' slide guitar, their uniquely distinctive Americana sound has had a broad appeal to every taste in music. Something for everyone! The Swamp Doctors sincerely hope that their compositions will become part of our musical heritage and live on long after we're gone.

American Dream
Here is a little of everything. Acoustic guitar, lap steel, mandolin, banjo, electric guitar. It's a melodic, dreamy piece about finding the American Dream.

Country Struttin'
This is a bouncy tune, sort of funky/country or bluesy/country. Imagine if Risky Business had taken place in Mississippi, and instead of Tom Cruise dancing in his underwear, it was Larry the Cable Guy instead. This is the tune that would have been playing.

Rollin' Blues
Another rockin' Bayou style blues track from the Swamp Doctors. Driving push beat drums with slide guitar and copping rhythm guitars. Perfect for a Southern-style cookout, oh and pass th hot sauce!

Someday 2.0
Basically the same riff as the acoustic version of Someday, only much faster and with heavy distorted guitar. If the X Games had Extreme Rodeo RIding (as if regular rodeo riding wasn't extreme enough) this would be the theme song.
