Steve has an ability to capture the visual within the music, he has a sensitive approach to new projects. The Hidden CD while recorded in 2005 was an opening to writing using new sounds and rhythms from around the globe. His heart is still in the jazz scene of latter years but loves the challenge of the music of the new state. Has an ability to think outside of the box for specific projects. Loves to write for the visual media and enjoys the search for the right sounds that make the picture come alive.
I released an instrumental CD in 2005 'HIDDEN' which received some very favourable reviews. The Cd is a mix of east meets west and some electro in between. This is not all but only a segment of the styles I compose.Instrumental work is my main arena these days, I feel there are limitless possibilities to mood and groove while bringing the impact of sound when it is required. I have been involved in the music industry for a long time, recording and live work - I honed my skills in the real world of live music. I am a freelance home studio based composer which enables me to use my time effectively but live work is still a draw to me - I really enjoy writing for jazz themes and the challenge of sound design for specific moments. I have written most genres from techno to classical style and most things in between. I love to experiment! I try to think out of the box especially in sound design projects.
