Q. Can I use the song "Happy Birthday To You" (aka "Happy Birthday") in my production legally? A. Yes, the status of Happy Birthday as a public domain composition has been litigated successfully and the court found that the song is, in fact, now a public domain composition. Hence, you may now use the composition and sound recordings of it in your productions legally. We license multiple different versions of it here.
